The deadline for completed applications is June 1, 2006. Persons applying by June 1 will be reviewed as a cohort and notified of application status no later than July 1. The application period will end with the June 1 deadline if all slots are filled. If some slots remain open after June 1, applications may be accepted until July 1, 2006. The selection committee may accept applications after June 1, on a case-by-case basis, until all slots are filled. Please return your completed application along with the required items listed below:

  • a letter from your agency sponsor supporting your time away from work to attend the course and the payment of course fee, if agency is defraying expenses
  • a one or two page statement indicating the basis for your interest in attending the course
  • a current resume or curriculum vitae

  • The course begins on Sunday, August 20, 2006 with registration, dinner, and mandatory orientation.
    • The Nutrition Pre-Course is scheduled for Sunday, August 20, 2006 from 1:00 – 4:30 p.m. (Attendance at the Nutrition Pre-Course is optional )
  • The course will end on the evening of August 24, 2006.
  • Check-out is scheduled for Friday morning, August 25, 2006.

Participants are expected to complete the full 5-day course.

The Nutrition Course fee is $1,200. This fee includes registration, room accommodations, meals, gratuities, sales taxes, course materials, and on-site computer and printer usage. Participants will be housed in private guest rooms. Upon acceptance into the course you will need to submit the course fee by August 1, 2006. The fee must be paid in full prior to attending the course. You will receive more information on course fee payment in your letter of acceptance into the program.
