The mission of CPCRN is to accelerate the adoption of evidence-based cancer prevention and control in communities.
The Network is engaged in research and practice activities that span the translation continuum from discovery to the dissemination and adoption of effective interventions. Our research activities will inform evidence reviews, especially the cancer-related sections of the Guide to Community Preventive Services.
However, we will go beyond advancing the science of cancer prevention and control, we will also influence public health and primary care practice. In particular, we will be actively engaged in enhancing large-scale efforts to reach underserved populations and reduce their burden of cancer.
